Belek is a purpose built beach and golf resort which sits on the stretch of coastline on the southern coast of Turkey known as the Turkish Riviera. The city is located around 35 km east of Antalya and the airport transfer is therefore quite short at around 30minutes. Belek is home to more than thirty four-star and five-star hotels and many of which are right on the beach front with golf courses running behind. Belek resort is mostly geared towards those wanting a hotel spa break, for those who want to remain in their luxury hotel and enjoy it's facilities and entertainment. There are a few restaurants and bars in the resort town if you fancy a change from the hotel's options. Alternatively you can journey to the city of Antalya, 35km west.

Activities in Belek

Go for a swim in Belek's blue flag white sandy beaches. Some of the hotels have private beaches. The usual water sports facilities are available along with parks and children's play areas. Shower, toilet and changing facilities and car parking are also on site. Refreshments are available from the beach side restaurants and bars.

Golf Course in Belek

Belek has eight Golf courses, some of which are championship, making it a great choice for a golfing holiday. There are driving ranges and golf academies to hone your game. All the courses are close by and the chances are you'll have one right at the back of your hotel within easy reach.

Excursions in Belek

The Kursunlu Waterfall

The Kursunlu Waterfall is around a 40km drive north-west of Belek. Here there are over 100 bird species living by this natural wonder. The hidden cave at the back of the waterfall is a popular place for visiting.

The ancient city of Perge

The ancient city of Perge is 30-35km north west of Belek and regarded as the second most important site after Ephesus. Perge was thought to have originally been founded in around 1000BC. The ruins here include an acropolis, theatre, churches and temple.
